Christophe’s Castle, Haiti

You can visit the fortress for a fee of $5. But to get to the castle, you’ll need a guide and a horse. The tourism department suggests you be smart and not allow the guide to overcharge you. The horse ride will cost you about $15.
In Haiti the currency is the Haitian gourde, or HTG. For every one Haitian gourde, it is six cents in US money .
