Madrasa College and Isfahan, Persia

The Royal Mosque, the Royal Square, the Madras, the bazaar- these are all found in one place. Completed in 1629, according to Wikipedia, “the whole of the construction measures 100 by 130 metres (330 ft × 430 ft), with the central courtyard measuring 70 by 70 metres (230 ft × 230 ft).”

Have a look at this amazing video of the architecture in the mosque. (Thank you Robyn)

In the Persian city of Isfahan, we find this beautiful domed building. It’s a Mohammedan college called the Madrasa. The dome and minarets are covered with green tiles. (CC BY-SA 3.0 ©2008 Patrickringgenberg)
